The History Window CyberViewer will add a floating palette window to Navigator that will list the most recent web pages that you've visited. The default is to show a list of thumbnails and page titles, but the view can be toggled between the thumbnail view and a list view, which will show page titles, the time of the visit, and the URL of the page.   CyberViewer will also add a menu to the Navigator Menu bar.   To show or hide the CyberViewer window, select Show/Hide Cyberviewer from the CyberViewer menu, or press command-T. It may take CyberViewer a moment to respond if Navigator is busy loading a page. To switch from the thumbnail view to the list view (or back) select "Switch to List View" (or "Switch to Thumbnail View") in the CyberViewer menu, and the window will toggle.   Clicking on a column header in the text list will sort the history list by that column. Note that locations for each of the window types are saved separately, so the list window may appear in a different place from where you have positioned the thumbnail window. Button Bar The button bar at the top of the palette provides quick access to commands. The functions of the buttons are as follows:   View - Loads the web page corresponding to the selected item. If more than one is selected, only the first selected item is loaded. Double-clicking a list item will also load the specified page. The page will be loaded into the frontmost browser window. If there is no open browser window, then a new one will be opened.   Trash - Deletes the selected entry from the list. If the page appears more than once in the list, it only deletes the selected entry for that page.   Find - Brings up the find dialog. You can use this to search the Cyberviewer history. Entries can be searched by title or URL. The find dialog can also be brought up by either selecting the "Find In History" menu item, or pressing command-shift-F.   Toggle - Toggles the history window between thumbnail view and list view.   Preferences - Opens the CyberViewer preferences dialog.   Iconize - Turns the history window into a small icon that can be moved around the screen to save space. Clicking on the iconized window will return it to normal size.   On/Off - Toggles CyberViewer on and off. When turned off, history entries are not recorded, and page-loaded notification is disabled. Drag and Drop Selected items can be dragged from the history list. Dragging an item to an open browser window will load the specified page in the window. Dragging to the trash will remove the items from the history list. Dragging items to the finder will create double-clickable bookmark files for the pages.   Dragging items to Netscape's Bookmark window will create a permanent bookmark entry.
